American Eagle offers regular flights between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Waco Regional Airport, which is located ten miles (15 minutes) from downtown. Directions from railhead at Abilene, Kansas (540 mi. / 20+ days)

  • Take Chisholm Trail southwest.
  • After crossing the Arkansas River at Wichita, follow trail southwest to state line.
  • At state line, follow trail due south through the Territory.
  • After crossing the Red River at Red River Station, take main trail south toward Fort Worth.
  • After crossing the Trinity River at Trinity Ford, continue south toward Fort Graham.
  • After crossing the Brazos River at Kimball’s Bend, turn left and follow the main trail along the river southeast to Waco.
  • Alternatively, after crossing at Trinity Ford, take the eastern spur toward Hillsboro and cross the Brazos River at Waco using new suspension bridge.
