Mourning the Loss of “B” Association Members

We extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and teammates of the letterwinners we have recently lost.

Jackie Hackler- Football 1965

Mr. Hackler was born September 30, 1943, in Pittsburg, TX, to J.S. and Edith Allene Duncan Hackler.  He attended Baylor University on a football scholarship, was a veteran of the United States Navy, former commander of the Pittsburg VFW, American Legion of Mt. Vernon, was the co-owner of Wholesale and Retail of oil and gasoline and convenience stores and attended both First Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Michael S. Hackler; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bree Hackler, Kiley Anne Hackler, and Noah Kristopher Hackler; brother, Joe Max Hackler; and sister, Janice Hackler Kilpatrick; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Mr. Hackler is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Stanley Hackler.
