The “B” Association and Baylor Athletics will recognize former offensive lineman, Bobby Glass, as a Baylor Legend this Saturday at the Baylor vs. Oklahoma State game.
A two-sport athlete from Duncanville, Texas, Glass came to Baylor in 1978, following in the footsteps of his father, Bill Glass, and older brother, Billy, both of whom also had distinguished football careers at Baylor. Bobby Glass built a distinguished career of his own as a key player for Legendary Baylor Head Football Coach Grant Teaff. Glass helped lead the Bears to the 1980 Southwest Conference championship and the Cotton Bowl in 1981. His performances during those two seasons, earned him 2nd team All-Southwest Conference honors in ‘80 and 1st team All-Conference honors in ‘81. He also received Baylor Football’s Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award, voted on by his teammates and coaches, following his junior season.
After leaving Baylor, Glass entered the real estate development business in the Dallas, Texas area. Currently, he is the president and owner of Glass Developments in Waxahachie.
