“B” Association to Honor Baylor Legend Levi Norwood

The “B” Association and Baylor Athletics will recognize former wide receiver, Levi Norwood, as a 2020 Baylor Football Legend at the Baylor vs. Kansas game on September 26.

A two-sport letterwinner in Football and Men’s Basketball, Norwood proved to be one of the most talented and versatile players in Baylor sports history. From 2011-2016, he was a key member of Baylor Football’s winningest class that posted a school-record five straight bowl appearances and two Big 12 conference championships in 2013 & 2014.

Norwood was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree, and a five-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll member. He led the Bears for two consecutive years in Punt Returns for TD’s in 2013 and 2014, and he currently ranks 14th all-time in Career Receptions with 128 catches for 1,629 yards and 10 Touchdowns.  As a senior, he was among the nation’s top wide receivers earning spots on the Biletnikoff Award and the Paul Hornung Award Watch Lists. Off the field, Norwood was the 2015 recipient of the Baylor “B“ Association’s Bobby Jones Award, given to a senior player for leadership and individual performance in a Homecoming game.
