Andrew Billings (Football 2013-15) signed with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent defensive tackle. Billings comes to the Browns from AFC North rival Cincinnati, where he was a starter for the last two seasons. Billings was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Dr. Mark Adickes (Football 1979, 1981-83) accepted a position as Orthopedic Surgeon at the Orthopedic Sports Clinic in Houston, TX. Adickes’ career as a football player has given him a unique perspective as a physician who dealt with pain, injuries, and recovery very similar to his patients.

David Alexander (Track & Field 1960-62) was honored as a Distinguished Alumni at the Baylor Line Foundation’s 55th Annual Hall of Fame Awards. Alexander is a retired NASA rocket scientist and played a key role in the Apollo 11 moon landing. He was selected as the 2005 “B” Association’s Wall of Honor recipient and also wrote a book titled “The Moon and More: The Story of David Alexander and His Family and Friends.”

Dennis Lindsey (Men’s Basketball 1988, 1990-91) was honored as a Distinguished Alumni in the Baylor Line Foundation’s 55th Annual Hall of Fame Awards. The Utah Jazz promoted Lindsey from general manager to executive vice president of basketball operations last year. Lindsey became the Utah GM in 2012 after serving as an assistant GM to R.C. Buford with the San Antonio Spurs for five years beginning in 2007.
