“B” Association to Honor Former Running Back Terrance Ganaway

The “B” Association and Baylor Athletics will recognize former running back, Terrance Ganaway, as a 2019 Baylor Football Legend at the Baylor vs. Oklahoma game on November 16.

A three-year letterwinner for the Bears from 2009-11, Ganaway became Baylor Football’s Single-Season Rushing leader when he rushed for 1,547 yards in 2011, shattering the previous record held by Football Legend, Jay Finley. Ganaway also owns the Single-Season Rushing Touchdowns record with 21. He finished his career at Baylor ranked 4th all-time with 28 Rushing TDs. He was selected All-America by SI.com (Honorable Mention) in 2011, and First Team All-Big 12 the same year.  Ganaway led his team to the 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl where he was named the offensive MVP following a career-high-tying 200 yards rushing and school-record-tying five TDs. For his performance in the classroom, he was twice named to the Baylor Dean’s List and he was selected to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

In 2012, Ganaway was selected by the New York Jets in the 6th round NFL Draft. He played one season with the St. Louis Rams before announcing his retirement from pro football to pursue his graduate degree at Baylor.

Currently, Ganaway works as an Account Manager for the Stryker Corporation, a medical technology company with offices located in Flower Mound, Texas. He resides in Keller, Texas, with his wife Jenny and their four children Camilla 6, Zaid 5, Giselle 3, and Morris 8 months.
