Fred Miller Helping Rescue Efforts in Houston

Fred Miller is a former Baylor letterwinner and 13 year NFL lineman for the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears. Miller has a deep history in giving back and doing for others. When he played for the Tennessee Titans in 2001, Miller donated over $1 million to fund the Nurses for Newborns Foundation in Nashville  — one of the largest single charitable donations in NFL history. The organization is designed to help prevent infant mortality, child abuse and neglect through home-based programs that provide education, healthcare and parenting skills. In 2005, Miller made the largest financial contribution to Baylor from any NFL player. Miller was a two-time All-Southwest Conference selection in four seasons at Baylor from 1992-95, starting 41 of 44 games played and graduating with a degree in sociology.
