“B” Association Mourns the Loss of Larry Hickman

Larry Hickman, former football player and Baylor Hall of Fame inductee, passed away Friday, February 10, at the age of 81. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 18, at 12:30pm at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler (300 W. Erwin Street). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, from 6 to 8pm at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy). 

Hickman lettered for the Bears from 1955-58, earning all-Southwest Conference honors in 1958. After his Baylor career, Hickman played two seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. He was named a member of the Baylor football all-1950s team and was inducted into the Baylor Hall of Fame in 1973.
