First Board Meeting of 2017
The “B” Association’s first board meeting of 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, February 4. We will welcome new directors Cody Carlson (Football), Santana Dotson (Football), Wayne Dunlap (Track), Jennifer Putty Martinsen (Volleyball), Richard Naylor (Trainer/Manager), and Jon Topolski (Baseball).
In addition, we will welcome new officers President Dusty Sanderson (Trainer/Manager), President-Elect Pat Combs (Baseball), Vice President Ken Buckley (Football), Treasurer Phil Duren (Track), and Past-President Don Riddle (Baseball).
We are thankful for our board members as they provide leadership for our organization, establish policies, and act as representatives for Baylor letterwinners in the community and within the organization.
“B” Association to Host the 2017 National Letterwinners Association Conference
The National Letterwinners Association (NLWA) is an organization made up of letterwinners associations from schools all across the country. Each year, the association holds an annual conference with a different host school. The conference includes presentations on a variety of topics, networking opportunities, the chance to exchange ideas, and discussion of challenges and solutions encountered at each school.
The “B” Association is happy to announce that we will be hosting the conference in Waco this year on June 27-29. In addition to the various conference sessions, attendees will receive tours of Baylor’s athletic facilities, Magnolia Market, Balcones Distillery, and other activities around the city of Waco. We are excited to showcase the many impressive facilities Baylor has, promote our successful coaches and their programs, and show other schools what Baylor and Baylor letterwinners are all about.
