At the Baylor vs. TCU game on Saturday, November 5, the “B” Association and Baylor Athletics will recognize former All-Big 12 Safety, Jordan Lake, as a 2016 Baylor Football Legend.
A native of Houston, Texas, Lake earned four varsity letters in football for the Bears from 2006 to 2009, and he is a member of Baylor Football’s All Decade team of the 2000’s. A three-time All-Big 12 selection, Lake currently ranks 9th in Career Total Tackles at Baylor and 8th All-time in Solo Tackles. He also excelled in the classroom garnering Academic All-Big 12 honors three consecutive years from 2006-2008. Following his senior season, Lake was selected to play in the Texas vs. The Nation All Star Football Game.
After hanging up his cleats, Lake returned to the Houston area and began a career in the energy industry. He is currently employed at Enterprise Products, one of the largest publicly-traded energy partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services. He is married to wife Amberly.
