Women’s Basketball’s Nina Davis Named “B” Association’s Homecoming Queen Nominee

ninadavis2The “B” Association is proud to highlight the accomplishments of female letterwinners by selecting a student-athlete to represent Baylor Athletics in the annual Baylor Homecoming Queen competition.  Each year, Baylor coaches from all women’s sports are invited to submit the names of young ladies they believe deserve consideration for Homecoming Queen.  Then, a special selection committee from the “B” Association selects one individual from the list of nominees to be the official athletic representative in the competition.

ninadavis“These student-athletes have an opportunity to exhibit their character, intelligence, poise, philanthropy, in addition to their accomplishments on the athletic field,” said “B” Association past president, Debbie Mann. “We are proud to announce this year’s athletic representative in the Homecoming Queen competition will be Baylor Women’s Basketball, Nina Davis. Nina was selected from an impressive list of nominees from several other women’s sports at Baylor.  We congratulate Nina and we wish her the very best in the 2016 competition,” Mann said.

Then, a separate selection committee from the “B” Association selects one nominee from the list to serve as the competition’s official athletic representative.
