Considered the oldest active member of the “B” Association, former football and track letterwinner, Weldon D. Bigony, 96, passed away in Waco, Texas, on Aug. 10, 2016.  Funeral services were held for him in his hometown of Big Spring on August 15, 2016.

Friends, loved ones, and others who knew Weldon, but were unable to attend his funeral in Big Spring, are invited to a special celebration of his life on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at 2:00 pm in the Letterwinners Lounge at McLane Stadium in Waco.  The celebration will not be a formal service, but rather it will be an opportunity for those who attend to gather and reflect on Weldon’s amazing life and receive brief words from Dutch Schroeder and Grace Church Waco pastor, Rev. Jay Mathis.  The celebration will also include a special video slide show featuring photos from various stages of Weldon’s life and distinguished military career.

Please join us on Sunday, September 4, in the Letterwinners Lounge to help celebrate the life and legacy of a very special Baylor letterwinner, Weldon Bigony.
