Please join us for our 6th Annual Dutch Schroeder’s Bear Claw Golf Classic as we honor Jim and Nell Hawkins of Waco, for their long standing and generous support of Baylor University, Baylor Athletics and the Waco community. Included among their many philanthropic endeavors at Baylor, Jim and Nell Hawkins donated $3.5 million for the Jim and Nell Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center and were key contributors to the Lt. Jack Whetsel, Jr. Basketball Practice Facility. They were also instrumental in the purchase of the first electronic scoreboard at Floyd Casey Stadium. Loyal supporters of the Waco community, the Hawkins have been generous donors to Waco’s Heritage Square and the Cameron Park Zoo, and the McLennan County College Science Building. They were also named Philanthropists of the Year, in 1997, by the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

Plan now to join us along with fellow Baylor Letterwinners, family, friends and Baylor fans on Friday, October 16th, at the beautiful Twin Rivers Golf Course in Waco, TX, for a fun-filled day of golf and fellowship. The tournament will be a four-person scramble and tee-time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
The individual cost per player will be $200.00 and ALL proceeds will benefit the “B” Association. It is important to make a commitment now to reserve your foursome as the tourney is limited to 144 players. Your entry fee includes a pre-golf lunch and dinner afterwards, at which time we will recognize our honorees. Hole sponsors as well as naming sponsorships (caps, shirts, food, etc.) are available. Don’t miss this great weekend in Waco which includes our tournament on Friday, October 16th and the Baylor vs West Virginia Big 12 Football game in McLane Football Stadium on Saturday, October 17th.
