Childhood

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Billy Scolinos.  Growing up, I lived in Whittier, CA from birth to second grade, at which point my family decided to move to Charleston, SC, where my dad accepted a new coaching job.  We only spent one year in South Carolina before moving to Bluefield, WV, due to my dad accepted another coaching job. After one year there, my parents decided to move back to California, where we lived for three years before my dad took a coaching job in Baltimore, MD.  Following two years in Maryland, we moved back to Whittier.  While moving around the country, I was homeschool by my mom rather than attending a traditional school from kindergarten through seventh grade. Once returning from Baltimore however, I attended Broadoaks Junior High for eighth grade before choosing to attend Whittier Christian High School.

High School

I also played baseball my freshman, junior and senior years.  Also, I played on the football team during my sophomore and junior years. In addition to playing sports, I averaged fifteen hours of community service per year by participating in many various service events.  Following my junior year, I attended National Student Leadership Conference at Fordham University.  Additionally, I was selected to be a member of the National Honor Society, and California Scholastic Federation.  Once receiving my acceptance letter to Baylor, I decided to move to Waco following my senior year.
