Rationale:

A sketch of a poster was drawn out on paper for Scholars Week.  

Tools:

• paper/ pencil
• laptop

Procedure: 

1. Past poster examples were viewed and examined for aspects that were liked and disliked. 
2. Groups were assigned. 
3. Rough sketch of a poster created.  

Results: 

The rough sketch of the poster was created.  

Conclusion: 

Plan of the poster content was to include the Abstract, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Unique Observations, and Acknowledgements/ References. Some ideas were laid out for image placement, diagrams, and content for good flow of the poster.  Knowledge was attained about poster designs and the process behind it. 

Future Work:  

In the future , a rough draft of the poster will be created using the sketch that was drawn.
