Four students will represent Baylor University at prestigious aviation conferences

Each year, the Baylor Institute for Air Science in the College of Arts & Sciences offers its junior and senior students the opportunity to submit a essay for competition, with the winners sent to either the Women in Aviation International Conference or the University Aviation Association (UAA) Policy Seminar on behalf of Baylor. This year’s submissions were excellent, and the essays of four students were chosen as winners.

Tobi Witt, a junior aviation sciences major from Denver, Colorado, and Bobbi Bruehl, a senior aviation administration major from Leander, Texas, will represent Baylor University at the University Aviation Association (UAA) Aviation Policy Seminar in Washington D.C. in January 2024.

Zeresch Degni, a junior aviation administration major from Aubrey, Texas, and Lily Hagan, a junior aviation sciences major from Scottsdale, Arizona, will represent Baylor at the 35th annual Women in Aviation International Conference in Orlando, Florida, in March 2024.

Congratulations to these four students on their winning essays!
