Each year, the Baylor Institute for Air Science in the College of Arts & Sciences offers its junior and senior students the opportunity to submit a essay for competition, with the winners sent to either the Women in Aviation Conference or the University Aviation Association (UAA) Policy Seminar on behalf of Baylor. This year’s submissions were excellent, and the essays of four students were chosen as winners.
Lexi Gonzales, a senior aviation sciences major from Simi Valley, California, and Jennifer Asmussen, a junior aviation sciences major from Lake Forest, Illinois, will represent Baylor University at the UAA Aviation Policy Seminar in Washington D.C. in January 2023.
Brooke Botha, a junior aviation sciences major from Big Sky, Montana, and Romi Tsang, a junior aviation sciences major from Tracy, California, will represent Baylor at the Women in Aviation Conference in Long Beach, California, in February 2023.
Congratulations to these four students on their winning essays!
