Caritas is an organization that helps the poor in Waco.


The Salvation Army is a Christian denomination and international charitable organization organised in a quasi-military structure.


The Family Abuse Center (FAC) exists to eliminate domestic violence in Central Texas by sheltering victims of domestic violence and by preventing abuse from occurring through intervention and education.


Mission Waco provides programs for the poor, provides people with a way to volunteer, and are seeking some ways to overcome poverty.


The National CASA Association is a network of 933 programs that are recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courtroom and other settings.


Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that allows people to be a friend to children in need.


World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.


Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.
