1. There is no perfect place, you have to change it

The world is a sad, broken world

We can make a difference

2. We chose poverty, because our city is trapped in it.

3. You have to get involved

4. You can’t be a bystander, you need to get involved, you can’t wait for someone to change the world for you

5. Research, I needed to sit down and rest, the pasta didn’t agree with me

6. Will poverty ever end

    keeping water and land clean, recycling, Spade and neutering strays.

    its a big responsibility

    Absolutely, What did picking up litter.

    2.What community issue did your group choose to investigate. Drugs. Why? It’s a real issue in the community

    3.What have you learned about being an active citizen today? To help those in need

    4.Do you think you can make a difference in your community? Yes. Why? even the smallest action can make a difference

    5. What did you like the most today? Games. Why? Our group did well

    6.What is one thing you would like to know more about? Ways I can help out.

  3. Describe the three most important things you learned today? 1. Laws 2. What it is like to be a lawyer. 3. More about drugs.

    How will learning about the trial process, jury process, and forming a good argument help you to be a more active citizen? I will understand how all of that works.

    Based on what you learned today, do you think you can make a difference in the community? Yes, I can help the people in my community.

    What did you like most about today – Besides lunch? Why was it your favorite activity? I liked visiting the Baylor law building & hearing from the people that work there.

    What is one thing that you would like to know more about? What a lawyer does.
