Make cards for the elderly. Deliever food to the food pantry.

Day 3 Reflection

Describe the three most important things you learned today?

– How to be a lawyer

-The trial process

-How to become a good judge

 

How will learning the trial process, jury process, and forming a good argument help you be a more active citizen?

It will help me argue well.

When it’s time to become a juror it will be good because you’ll already know how to argue and what to expect.

It will help me become a good judge.

 

Based on what you learned today, do you think you can make a difference in your community? How?

yes, because I can argue.

Yes, because you can effectively argue to make a good point.

Yes, I can become a juror or get a job in the law.

 

What did you like most about today? Why was it your favorite activity?

Going to the law school.

Day 2 reflection: Group 5

Describe the three most important things you learned today.

– presidents, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks

– Three branches/parts of government

– You can help out your community at any age.

What community issue did your group choose to investigate?

Feeding impoverished elders. Members of our group were interested in both eldery and poverty, so this was a good fit.

What have you learned about being an active citizen today?
I learned how the government works.

Do you think that you can make a difference in your community ? How?

Yes, help poverty. Empathize with others and help them. Cleaning up.

What did you like most about today?

Research time, Trashcan basketball

What have you learned about being a citizen today?

It is important, you have to be one to live

Volunteering for the community is good

Helping people by giving them food.

 

Do you think that you can make a difference in your community? How?

By delivering food to people, picking up trash, I can make a difference for animals by saving them, Hang up posters to advocate.

 

What did you like most about today?

Icivics Games because i got to volunteer like a grown up and pick what I wanted to do and volunteer for.
