NCSE is a free, online collection of 6 nineteenth-century British periodicals. The site offers complete runs of The Monthly Repository (1806-1837) and Unitarian (1832-1833), The Northern Star (1838-1852), The Leader (1850-1860), The English Woman’s Journal (1858-1864), The Tomahawk (1867-1870), and The Publisher’s Circular (1880-1890). Each periodical is available via facsimiles and textual transcripts. The edition also includes a searchable index of keywords and person, place, and institution names.
