On Friday, Sept. 5, the 19CRS was delighted to present Daniel Benyousky and Heidi Seward with awards for the two outstanding graduate student papers in nineteenth-century studies for Fall 2014. Out of a pool of able applicants, Heidi and Daniel rose to the top for their accomplished work. The 19CRS leadership team unanimously recommended they be recognized. I was personally deeply encouraged to witness Daniel and Heidi present their papers on Sept. 5, and to see the large number of graduate students and faculty who came to celebrate their achievements. We are proud of you, Daniel and Heidi!
