Rebel has spent most of her life in Texas and moved to Waco in 2000. After spending 8 years as a public school teacher and another 7 homeschooling her son, Rebel joined us at Baylor University where she earned her M.S. in Biology while studying the upregulation of cortisol in developing salmon and its correlation with acute and chronic environmental stressors. Rebel is now pursuing her Ph.D. and her research interests include the endocrine and reproductive systems, and the effects of environmental stress on physiology and development.
