Greetings from VA

I’m attending NSF IOS writer’s retreat at Mountain Lake Biological Station. MLBS is one of a few field stations UVA, my alma matar, maintain but I never been here while I was attending UVA – my research station was the other field station, Blandy Experimental Farm. This is very remote – no cell signal – and cool – 74F right now. We talked about setting goals and execute it this morning, and my goal for this week is rewriting the DEB pre-proposal was not invited this year. I better go back to writing!
