Big 12 research connections: West Virginia University

The Baylor football team returns home this weekend for a Big 12 conference matchup with the Mountaineers of West Virginia.  The competition on the field will be intense as the Bears look to avenge their only regular-season loss from last year.  While Baylor and WVU will be opponents at McLane Stadium this week, faculty from the two universities share a number of connections in research and scholarship.

Get to know Big 12 research: Kansas State University

This weekend, the Baylor football team closes out their regular season with a home contest against Kansas State University. Anticipation for the game is high, as both teams have a chance to claim at least a share of the conference title with a win!

Before the Bears and Wildcats take the field, we’re bringing you the final entry in this season’s “Get to know Big 12 research” series.  Dr. Karen Burg, the vice president for research at Kansas State, answered a few questions to help us learn a little more about our friends in Manhattan (Dr. Burg frequently shares news and information on the @KState_RSCAD account, so she’s provided her answers in tweet format!).

Happy Thanksgiving from the OVPR! We hope you’ve been enjoying some relaxing time with friends and family.  On Saturday, the Bears will take on the Red Raiders of Texas Tech at AT&T Stadium, an annual neutral-site matchup that usually proves to be one of the most exciting games on the Bears’ schedule.  To help you prepare for the game, this week we present a Q&A with Dr. Robert V.
