The Office of the Vice Provost for Research, in conjunction with Baylor University Libraries, presents a hands-on workshop to help faculty search for funding opportunities more effectively using the COS Pivot database.

WHAT
Pivot is an online system that contains thousands of funding opportunities from a wide range of sponsors including federal agencies, private foundations, non-profit organizations and more. The workshop will cover a number of topics including:

• Establishing a Pivot account.
• Viewing pre-selected funding opportunities based on prior research.
• Searching for currently available opportunities and narrowing results with advanced search techniques.
• Setting up weekly funding alert emails with newly listed opportunities.
