Dr. Lea Steele, research professor of biomedical studies and director of the Baylor Veterans Health Research Program, was a guest on NPR’s “Science Friday” last week.

She discussed current research on the causes and treatment of Gulf War Illness, including ongoing attempts to identify biomarkers that distinguish veterans with the illness from those who do not experience symptoms.
