Electronic resource for finding individual pieces of music published in standard scholarly editions. Included is music from ancient Greek times to the present. Content is searchable by composer name or ID, editor, genre, language, librettist, format, publisher name, series, title, instrumentation and/or number of instruments, and results can be limited by genre and/or language. Classical Scores Library, Volume II
Volume II has been added to the Baylor Libraries’ subscription to Classical Scores Library from Alexander Street Press. The second volume brings together 200,000 pages. It’s the first online score collection for libraries that’s composed mostly of in-copyright classical scores from major composers and editions. Many items that are unavailable in print in typical library collections will now be online for viewing and study, including the scores of many composers who self-publish.
