The EIU ViewsWire is a web-based intelligence service from the Economist Intelligence Unit. It delivers analysis on key economic, political and business developments around the world. Contains EIU country reports & profiles. Each country is allotted an individual home page, which can be bookmarked, displaying a selection of data and a range of information available on that country. Choosing a country takes you directly to that country’s home page. Once there, topics for each country as well as sub-categories for each topic are clearly displayed on the main body of the page. The country reports analyse political and economic trends, provide an 18 to 24 month forecast complementing the analysis, and include five-year statistical tables of historical data.

PrivCo

Database of financial data on major privately-held companies. Includes private financials and revenues; private M&A deals and deal multiples, private firm valuations, VC funding, private equity deal history; and private and family ownership data.

AUPHA Directory

This is an online version of the Healthcare Management Education Directory of Programs. The online edition lists programs at the baccalaureate, master{u2019}s, doctoral, executive and continuing education level, including websites and email addresses for all programs, plus a detailed table presenting program offerings including distance education, long-term care, and nontraditional curricula across the membership. Inside the directory is full information on baccalaureate, master’s, doctoral, executive and continuing education programs; admission procedures and standards for acceptance; estimated costs to complete degree; and geographic index of programs.

Direction of Trade Statistics

The Direction of Trade Statistics (DOTS) database provides figures on the value of merchandise exports and imports by trade partners as well as area and world aggregates showing trade flows between major areas of the world. DOTS provides access to monthly, quarterly and annual trade data from 1948 to 1999 for about 180 countries and geographic areas.

This resource has been added to the WRDS interface.  ExecuComp offers executive compensation data including current, historical, total compensation, executive options and compensation of industry peers. ExecuComp provides full details on executive stock and option awards as well as pension plans to give you a complete picture of how executives are compensated. Selected company financial information enables you to compare executive pay versus company performance, revealing previously hard-to-find information. The ExecuComp database includes detailed breakouts of compensation data under the pre-2006 reporting rules so that you can research historical compensation trends. Select COMPUSTAT from current subscriptions. Scroll to Compustat Quarterly Updates and select Execucomp.
