1. Can you identify a signature in the work? If you believe “B.C.” is the artist’s signature, can you identify the artist’s full name?

2. Confirm the technique/process of this print. Is it indeed an etching?

3. What information can you gather from the scene? Is it biblical and if so, what is the passage that the scene is referencing?

4. Where is the scene most likely taking place, as in an area of the world (i.e. Europe)? Can you gather similar information based on the figures’ appearances?

5. Can you locate a date or define the life dates of the artist, if the artist is known?

6. If you know the artist, do you know the title? Is it part of a series of prints?
