Current Research
I am currently working with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), and using In Vitro models to look at cellular response to AgNPs exposure via inhalation and ingestion, specifically AgNPs distribution in biomatrix, cellular uptake and cytotoxicity. Human bronchoalveolar carcinoma derived cells (A549) and colon adenocarcinoma (Caco-2) are used to investigate the factors influencing the interactions between cells and AgNPs.
