Sunshine after the rain

It’s been raining the whole week in Conroe area. Light raining makes the temperature lower. Low 70 to 90 degrees is not common in
Conroe during summer time. I enjoy the cool weather, but rain is bringing a problem.

Last night the thunder was so loud that I couldn’t sleep for a while. I know it must rain very heavily. As a result, I left home earlier than usual, so I can drive slowly. The traffic was not terrible, but not great either. Every car is driving at 40 mpg on highway. When I arrived at the
technology center, my car was one of the few in the parking lot. I guess north bound of I45 is harder to drive with the rain. Earlier today, we received an email from the corporate saying there’s a flood warning. I looked out from the window, and it was dark outside. The rain just came down like pouring. The worst part is, it’s non-stopped. Not like thunder storm, 10 minutes rain and then stop. It’s the endless heavy rain.

Luckily, it started to clear up in the afternoon. There’s less rain and less wind, partially cloudy. Flood warning is taken off too. The weather forecast shows that it will rain all this week and next week. I guess the cool weather will stay in Conroe for a while. It’s not too bad as long as
it won’t cause any damage or accident.
