After finance final
26 04 2012Yes, there’s one more final and presentation left for next week. Core 2 is coming to an end.
This week was not fun. Let me start with the list of items or exams for this week.
Monday, strategy homework based on << good to great>>
Wednesday, strategy paper due, eco final
Thursday, finance final
Came back in town last Saturday from Arkansas, I had a lot on my plate. But it was not too bad. Getting used to the pace of an MBA candidate, I think I start to like it now. I like the feeling of waking up in the morning and knowing I have something to do today. There’s something I read on Twitter: every morning, it shouldn’t be your alarm wakes you up, it should be your dream. I think that’s exactly right for me now. No more complain, no more negative, only strong and positive. Just like the song from Kelly Clarkson: what didn’t kill us makes us stronger.
From summer 12 hours, to fall and spring 16 hours, to next semester 18 hours, it’s not that easy to keep the GPA up while trying to find an internship or full time job. But look at us now, most already find an internship for the summer, core 3 students find their jobs. The market is getting better and our hard working is paying back. Baylor is not a school that would just let you pass all the courses without trying, but is a place you can really learn from the faculty, from each other, from the sport teams, from the people you work with. Today there’s a gentleman walked into graduate school office and ask about the graduate program in business school, I looked at him and told him that you wouldn’t regret if you choose Baylor, because you can always find people who’s willing to help you.
As core 2 is closing, I looked back and felt so thankful for my choice of becoming a Bear! Sic’em Bears!
