What is it?

The ATLHub serves as a hub for the collection of ideas and discussions relating to the mission and vision of the Academy for Teaching and Learning.

When visiting the site, you’ll notice that the main focus of the site is a motherblog, an aggregation of blogs of individuals who have affiliation with the Academy for Teaching and Learning, both present and past. Not all of the blog posts are directly related to teaching and learning or to technology that may be integrated into teaching and learning. However, as part of the mission/vision of the ATL is to facilitate community, these seemingly unrelated posts are important to this community.

Additionally, the site contains a feed of the ATL’s Delicious links. One of the contributors noted these links as things that contribute to the discussions that occur within the Academy for Teaching and Learning. You may see discussions of these links from the numerous contributors to the ATLHub over time as well.

The ATLHub is intended to serve as a hub, that is, a meeting place from which you move onto another place. Much like visiting an airport that serves as a hub, we encourage you to click on the blogs and links, visiting the sites yourself. Please engage the contributor with comments or e-mails. The ATLHub is a way that the Academy for Teaching and Learning can extend beyond the Baylor campus through interaction with other people around the world on the topic of teaching and learning.
