CHILD ABUSE

CHILD ABUSE

Child Abuse is important and everyone needs to know what abused children go through and how they can help. There are three types of abuse: Physical,Emotional, and Sexual. Physical abuse includes hitting, kicking, pinching, burning, and throwing. Emotional abuse is used in forms of name calling, rejecting, not loving, and labeling.

If you think a child might be being abused  children might seem nervous around adults, reluctant to go home, and are fearful and anxious.

N.U.F.A-No Use For Abuse

There are many ways of child abuse including: physical injury, sexual assaults, and emotional harm. Child abuse can not be prevented by an individual, everyone needs to do their part.

Emotional abuse: children that are emotionally abused are quiet and are afraid to tell, because of threats of the abuser.

Sexual abuse: sexual abuse is very life changing especially to children. An adult or a even a kid will feel a need to do this so please reject it if possible. Children who have been sexually abused will want to repeat it on others. The child most likely will not be open to share about the content or the story.

Physical abuse: Physical abuse can deeply injure a person. Ways of doing this are punching, kicking, and other strong attacks. The abuser will have a need for power and control.

Make a change, stop child abuse. Because I’ve had a n.u.f.a that.

iCivics in Court

Three things we learned today were good arguments, petitioners and respondents, and what the fourth amendment was. We also learned that a good argument needs facts, evidence, and witnesses. It is important for citizens to understand effective argumentation because the need to know how to defend themselves in court. Our favorite event today was doing a mock trial at Baylor Law School. It was about the case of T.L.O. vs New Jersey where a student who brought some cigarettes to school was searched. That violated her 4th Amendment rights.
