How it Works/FAQ

How Much Does it Cost?

Nothing! It is free for all Baylor Students

What do you have?

We have the basics; since we are working with small fridges, we are limited to simple meals.  We try to have bread, ham, cheese, peanut butter, jelly, cereals, milk, mac & cheese, and other snacks along with bottled water.

How Do I Get A Fridge?

Our goal is to have at least one refrigerator in every academic and administrative building on campus!  If you would like a fridge in your area, contact Jorge_Vielledent@Baylor.edu.

Who Pays for the Fridges?

The fridges and the initial stock is purchased through the collaboration with the Baylor Department of Sustainability.

Who Pays for the Food?

While we pay for the initial food stock, we are asking the department host to pay for the food after that.  We estimate that the cost would be around $25-30 per month (depends on the amount of use).  The cost of operation can be met through contributions of those in the department or through departmental budget allocations -we leave it up to the host! We may supplement the Fridge throughout the semester as time and resources permit.
