Reflection Day Three

1) We learned about law, how to get a lawyer, how to make an argument, and how to become part of the jury.

2) You can become a lawyer in your community and all the qualifications for being on the jury.

3) I think you can make a difference by being on the jury by giving them a fair trial.

4) My favorite part was when Justice Gray did the case with us in it.

Reflection Day 4

Three of the most important things I learned today were:

1) Learning what Wilbert Austin does for Waco.

2) I learned how to write an advocacy letter to the commissioner today.

3) Using puppets to share my message.

Reflection 08/12/2014

Three important things I learned today were:

1)civil rights movement

2) campaign buttons

3)things about portraits and artifacts, it was very educational.

Fresh and clean lunches is our community issue because school lunches are not very fresh by the time we eat them. We have had rotten fruits and rock hard bread.

I learned that you can donate things like old newspapers of historical events, candidate posters, buttons and helpful T-shirts.

Day 1 Reflection

Three of the most important things that I learned today were:

1) How oil and trash go into the Bosque River.

2) There is a lot of hunger in Waco that I did not know about.

3) Summer camps help you learn more and express your opinions with other people your age which helps you learn and grow.

Reflection Day 5

1)~ I will not forget my experience at the law school.

~All of the friends I have made on this journey.

~The puppet show we did to advocate for our issue.

2) To get outside and  be helpful in our community.

3) It has shown me that I can help out in the community by volunteering.

4) By doing a bake sale for charity is a great way to raise money.

5) My favorite part was filming our video with the puppets.
